WHISTLEBLOWER PROTECTION STATUTES

Whistleblower protection statutes protect employees who report illegal misconduct by their employers from retaliation. In the United States, whistleblower protection provisions are embedded in several laws, including the False Claims Act (FCA), a central whistleblower statute at the federal level. The FCA and other laws protecting whistleblowers can be used to advance corporate accountability on human rights.
